International environmental company Genan has signed an agreement to acquire the mechanical tire recycling plant, owned by ESTATO Umweltservice, located in Weiden in southeastern Germany. The acquisition is part of Genan’s strategy to strengthen its market presence in Europe and to gain access to the growing Central and Eastern European market for recycled raw material from worn-down tires.
